The hybrid powertrain of Palisade is a combination of 2.5 liter turbo petrol engine and electric motor, which gives a total of 334 horsepower and 460 Newton meter torque. Along with this, it is expected to get mileage of up to 14 kmpl.

Hyundai is working on another new SUV, which will be between the Alcazar and Tucson in size. It is currently codenamed Ni1i. It will be a three-row SUV and according to reports, it can also get a hybrid powertrain.
The company can use its existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine by converting it into a hybrid. This SUV will be aimed at those who want a large family SUV but are looking for something in a segment below premium models like the Palisade.
