If we talk about its price in India, then its price is currently much higher than America, China and Europe. The reason for this is the almost 100% import duty on CBUs (Completely Built Units) in India. Tesla vehicles sold in India are the company’s China factory.
Charging network and delivery Tesla Model Y launched in India 2025
Delivery of the standard variant will start from this quarter, while the long range variant will be delivered from the next quarter.
Tesla has started building a charging network in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR:
16 Supercharger points (4 locations in both cities)
15-16 destination charging points
A wall mounted charger will also be available with every Tesla order.
The design of the Model Y is clean and modern. It gets a blank front grille, LED DRLs, and slim headlamps. Talking about the side profile, it has flush door handles and 19-inch and black alloy wheels.
The interior of the vehicle is also quite simple. It gets features like a 15.4-inch touchscreen, dual-tone interior option (₹95,000 extra), 8-inch rear screen, and wireless charging.
